Supplier Terms of Service

These Supplier Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of The Wombat™ supplier platform. By creating a supplier account, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Account Registration
To become a supplier on The Wombat™ platform, you must:
- Provide accurate and complete business information
- Have a valid Australian Business Number (ABN)
- Be legally authorized to represent your business
- Maintain current contact information
2. Auto-Renewal Subscription
The Wombat™ operates on an auto-renewing credit bundle model:
- Bundle Size: Choose any number of leads per bundle — cost is calculated based on your service pricing
- Automatic Renewal: When your balance drops below your set threshold, your card is automatically charged and credits are added
- Pay Per Lead: Credits are deducted only when you receive a lead
- Cancel Anytime: Cancel your auto-renewal subscription at any time and get refunded your remaining purchased credits, excluding any referral bonus credits or promotional credits
- Configurable Threshold: Set when auto-renewal triggers (e.g., when balance drops below $50, $100, or $200)
3. Lead Pricing
Lead prices vary by service type and are clearly displayed in your supplier dashboard:
- Standard pricing ranges from $20 to $165 per lead depending on service category
- You can set a lead priority multiplier (1.0x–3.0x) from your Lead Settings page at any time — higher multipliers increase your match priority in your service areas
- Your effective lead cost is the base price for the service type multiplied by your priority multiplier
- You can configure daily and weekly lead limits, and per-service caps, from your Lead Settings page
- Prices may be adjusted with 30 days notice
- Special promotional pricing may apply from time to time
4. Lead Rejection Policy (Important)

Our lead rejection policy is designed to ensure fair use of the platform while protecting suppliers from invalid leads.
4.1 Valid Rejection Reasons
You may reject a lead and receive a full credit refund for the following reasons:
- Incorrect Phone Number: The customer's phone number is invalid and you cannot reach them
- Duplicate Lead: You've already received this exact customer inquiry
- Outside Service Area: The job location is outside your specified service areas
- Wrong Service Type: The lead is for a service you don't offer
- Customer Uncontactable: Multiple contact attempts failed with no response from the customer
4.2 Invalid Rejection Reasons
You will NOT receive a refund if you reject a lead for:
- Customer chose a different supplier
- Job is too small or not profitable enough
- Customer's budget is too low
- You're too busy to take on the work
- You changed your mind about the lead
4.3 Rejection Process
- Click "Request rejection" on the lead in your supplier dashboard
- Select the rejection reason from the dropdown
- Provide additional details explaining the issue (required)
- Submit rejection within 5 days of receiving the lead
4.4 Rejection Review
- All rejections are reviewed by The Wombat™ team
- Valid rejections are processed within 1 business day
- Credits are refunded back to your account balance upon approval
- Rejection rates are tracked per supplier
- Excessive or fraudulent rejections may result in account suspension
4.5 Abuse Prevention
To maintain platform integrity, suppliers who consistently reject valid leads may have their accounts suspended or terminated. We track rejection rates and investigate patterns of abuse.
5. Payment Terms
- Payment Method: Credit card or debit card (via Stripe)
- Bundle Options: Flexible leads-based bundles — choose any number of leads per renewal
- Automatic Billing: Your card is charged automatically when your balance drops below your renewal threshold
- Currency: All prices in Australian Dollars (AUD)
- Failed Payments: If a renewal payment fails, you will be notified and your subscription may be paused until payment is resolved
6. Refund & Cancellation Policy
- Lead Rejections: Refunds issued for valid rejections only (see Section 4)
- Remaining Balance: When you cancel, your remaining credit balance stays in your account and can still be used to receive leads
- Re-Activation: You can re-enable auto-renewal at any time from your subscription settings
- Account Closure: Unused prepaid lead credits can be refunded upon account closure request
- Promotional & Referral Credits: Referral bonus credits and promotional credits are non-refundable, cannot be withdrawn as cash, and are excluded from any refund upon cancellation or account closure
7. Service Quality Standards
As a supplier, you agree to:
- Respond to leads promptly (within 24-48 hours recommended)
- Provide professional and courteous service
- Honor quoted prices and timelines
- Maintain appropriate licenses and insurance
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
8. Account Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account for:
- Violation of these Terms
- Fraudulent activity or abuse of the platform
- Excessive invalid lead rejections
- Customer complaints about poor service
- Providing false or misleading information
- Non-payment or chargebacks
9. Limitation of Liability
- The Wombat™ provides leads on an "as-is" basis
- We do not guarantee lead quality, quantity, or conversion rates
- We are not responsible for customer disputes or non-payment
10. Data and Privacy
- We collect and store your business information and lead interaction data
- Customer contact details are provided for lead fulfilment only
- You must comply with Australian Privacy Principles

11. Referral Program
We offer a Refer a Mate program where you can earn promotional lead credits by referring other tradies to the platform. The referral program is subject to separate Referral Program Terms.
12. Modifications to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be notified via email at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Australia.
